Traditional Greek Salad

Intro
This is an authentic Greek salad. There is no lettuce, olives or pepperoncini.

Ingredients

1 white onion

1 large cucumber, peeled and seeded

1 green bell pepper

4 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges

1 cup crumbled feta cheese

3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 Tbsp red wine vinegar

2 tablespoons Sicilian Seasoning or Greek Salad Seasoning

Directions

1. Cut the onion, cucumber, and green pepper into 1/2 inch pieces and place in a large bowl.

2. Add the tomato wedges, feta cheese, olive oil, red wine vinegar and Sicilian Seasoning (or Greek Salad Seasoning) to the bowl.

3. Gently toss to combine

4. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.

Substitutions
Recipe Tip:
I prefer block feta that I can cut into a slab so I get big pieces of feta. But crumbled feta work well too.
